151. Abby Bagby — Kingdom — Women & Their Work Gallery

Human hair, found objects

Kingdom is a collection of wearable sculptures that employs the avenue of fashion to explore feminism, ambition and the abject holistically within the human experience. Abby uses her preferred material of human hair as a representation of our collective existence, and suggests the intricacy and complexity of our experience through disassociation, camouflage, and appropriation.
