190. Miguel Rangel, Wes Thompson, and Nina Berenato

Mixed media, installation art, painting, metal

Fascinated by the carnival of power, Rangel explores the relationship between consumer fetishism and life as a performance, creating a hymn to the inaccuracies of our culture. Whereas, Thompson looks to merge realities through forms and objects found by pseudo ritualistic alien divination, coming off as if Burroughs is driving Cy Twombly around while he goes through your trash. Lastly, Berenato who explores concepts of time and space through metal works.
