264. Valérie Chaussonnet

Steel, oil, watercolor

I weld and forge poetic, profound, heavy steel sculptures and landscapes. I also weld whimsical love letters, writers sets and other surprises. I paint exuberant, colorful watercolors and oil paintings. I crochet French pastries and indulge in other artistic experiments. Many are inspired by prehistory and my professional museum experience in non-western art. Each piece carries a personal narrative.
